Privacy policy

We advise clients on defensible, POPIA-compliant AI — so we hold this site to the same standard. This policy says plainly what we collect and what we do with it.

Who we are

Solvex Advisory (Pty) Ltd (Reg No 2025/910233/07) is the responsible party for personal information processed through this website. Our Information Officer is Ashaylan Moodley, reachable at ashaylan@solvexadvisory.co.za or +27 82 212 5137.

What we collect, and why

If you contact us through this site, we collect what you choose to give us — your name, email address, company and message — for one purpose: responding to your enquiry and, where it leads to an engagement, managing that relationship. We do not sell personal information, we do not share it with third parties for marketing, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. We use privacy-respecting, cookie-free analytics to understand aggregate site performance (page views and web-vitals measurements that are not tied to your identity). If you submit our contact form, a spam-protection check by Cloudflare Turnstile may run; it is used solely to distinguish people from bots.

How long we keep it

Enquiry correspondence is retained for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and for a reasonable period thereafter, unless a longer period is required for a client engagement, by law or by professional record-keeping obligations.

Security

Messages sent through this site travel over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and are delivered to our business email. Access is limited to the people who need it to respond to you.

Your rights

Under POPIA you may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to its processing. Write to our Information Officer at ashaylan@solvexadvisory.co.za. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa) at inforegulator.org.za.

Changes

We will update this policy when our processing changes, and date the current version below. Last updated: 4 July 2026.
